Students at Regent College, Leicester will now benefit from first class sporting facilities, including a state-of-the-art fitness suite, basketball and netball courts, cricket nets and a five-a-side football pitch, as well as six classrooms and a large staff office.
The keys to the new ball hall sports centre have now been officially handed over to Regent College’s principal Paul Wilson.
The Ball Hall incorporates a bold and sleek design, which includes photo voltaic panels on the roof, a steel frame, brick and cladded walls and Kalwall translucent windows to provide controlled natural daylight to maximise energy efficiency.
Working closely with our client and with all the stakeholders involved to deliver such a wonderful facility has been a pleasure, and we are delighted to officially handover the new sports centre to the college.
Alan Staniforth, Assistant Principal (Finance) said :
‘We are delighted with our new Ball Hall sports hall, fitness suite, 6 classrooms and staff room. This is the culmination of a complex project involving land sale and securing necessary funding to enable the project to proceed which has resulted in much needed improvements to college accommodation and a brilliant sports facility not previously enjoyed by students at Regent College. The project has been achieved  through excellent working relationships between Ball Hall , Daniel Connal Partnership (Project Managers), G.F.Tomlinson and college staff.’
